Sales/Business Development Representative

Sumo Systems is currently seeking a Sales/Business Development Representative to support the marketing team in reaching targeted revenue goals by engaging in daily business-to-business outbound communication to prospective customers. Activities would contribute to the company's sales and marketing by providing qualified opportunities to the sales team. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in Kingston, Jamaica.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Securing and maintaining new business through cold calling and other means.
  • Qualifying and routing inbound calls and/or responses from campaigns and the on-line channel.
  • Entering client information into our database.
  • Prospects key contacts, usually executives of organizations, with the objective to interest the prospect in speaking and/or meeting with Sales Representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of cold calling experience
  • Computer literacy required with MS Office Suite
  • Persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to sell technical products/solutions with strong closing skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
